Susan Ashby was born in Pensacola, Florida, and then proceeded to travel the United States with her family. During these travels, Susan was homeschooled and moved often. She found friendship in books and an escape from reality through writing. She still loves to read and can often be caught cuddled up with a good book and one of her dogs. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in education and teaches special education in Indianapolis, Indiana. She currently lives in Columbus, Indiana, with her family.
