A True Story of Hope Against All Odds

Lee’s Summit, Missouri – WEBWIRE

Can suffering souls find their way to wholeness?

Can suffering souls find their way to wholeness? Judena Klebs’ From Horror to Hope is the story of a child’s survival from the abuse of an occult group and finding hope to rebuild her life.
Based on real-life events, the book tells the story of Lisa, a young girl who was taken by her father, who was a cult leader, to meetings throughout her childhood. While there, Lisa is subjected to satanic ritual abuse. Lisa then develops multiple personalities to cope with all the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual damages she suffers.
Those who are interested in Lisa’s spiritual journey should be aware that she started out with a terrible image of God due to her father claiming to represent God and to be a Christian leader while representing Satan and his cruelty at the same time. In spite of this, Lisa was eventually able to discover the truth about the true God and even have a trusting relationship with that God, whom she had once hated and feared!
Lisa needed deliverance from demons and spiritual help from the true Christian people but she also needed psychological help with the multiple personalities as well and the church people kept thinking she needed more deliverance from demons when the various personalities manifested and visa versa, when the mental health people thought demonic manifestations were personalities that needed to be integrated through therapy. One of the things the author tries to show is that this healing is two-fold: both spiritual and psychological. She observes that the church people tend to negate the need for mental health and mental health people tend to not believe in the spiritual realm and in spiritual warfare. The book attempts to throw light on this two-fold reality.
Mary Blackmon, an Amazon customer, writes that “From Horror to Hope” is “a blessing and a testimony of God’s love. Being abused as a child it helped me to understand that even though I had gotten saved and would go through deliverance I still needed to renew my mind. And I also needed healing in my mind as well. Anyone who’s been through child abuse or have been mentally abused…should read this book.”
The author states that she wrote the book to “aid victims of anguish,” and that she wishes “to provide comfort to people who are suffering from their own experiences of abuse and educate those who know friends or family members who have experienced such trauma.”
