Experience a world of magic and wonder through the eyes of a young human slave. Author Omar Morales launches fantasy novel Soltis: The Fall of Bolt,” a story he started writing when he was in tenth grade.

Roy, the protagonist, was serving his lizard-like master until he and his friend Rena decide to explore an ancient temple.  They would get to know magic far thought extinct.  With their village destroyed, they set out on a journey where they meet people of all nations and different species.  They encounter an emotionless elf, a seductive assassin, and a statue-like warrior fighting for their nations while madness slowly approaches in the wake of their burning village.

This race against time, creatures, people, and politics could only culminate in the grand master tournament – a tournament where all the nations gather and fight to become the leader of the allied nations.

“I would say that the motivation to write this story was to create a fantasy world that seemed connected with what we know.  How species are not clones but individuals with complicated minds, and how discrimination is better seen from afar when it happens to most people all the time,” Morales shares.

The book was featured at the biggest book events in North America, BookExpo America and BookCon 2018 on May 31-Jun 3, 2018 at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
