About the Author
Dr. Darlene Hoyt is a licensed clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist in the State of California.
 
She was a pre and post-doctoral intern with the San Diego Police Department and conducted her doctoral dissertation with the SDPD on Police Stress.  She has since then worked in all aspects of Police Safety Psychology: evaluating, training, treating, and providing management consultation to federal, state, county, and local agencies.  In addition, Dr. Hoyt provides pre-employment psychological evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, and workers compensation evaluations as a QME and an AME.
