Southern California Author, Emilie Deritter, Publishes Debut Novel
The children’s book titled “The Forgotten Knight” is about the adventure of a knight who is bound by a curse and is tasked to save a spoiled princess.

“The Forgotten Knight” by Emilie Deritter tells the story of the knight Sir Christopher of Calidore. He has no kingdom to defend and worst of all, he is bound by a curse.
The story starts when Sir Christopher rushes to the aid of the most spoiled princess in Christendom. After saving her, the knight and his companion, a mysterious sorceress who was once an advisor to his former liege, take the princess home. While on their journey, they are forced to fight evil forces and help those whom they find in need. They also happen to make friends with strange people during their journey. With a little help from their stranger friends, they struggle to break the curse that binds them together, change their destinies, and reclaim their lives.
“The Forgotten Knight” is a delightful and engaging fantasy story. The action-adventure tale is rich with the themes of adventure and friendship. The author made it sure that the characters were well-developed and the story won’t bore the readers.
