Retired Chief Scientist Philip Emma Pens a Great Mystery

A puzzling murder scene was solved like no other detective can.

Danbury, Connecticut – WEBWIRE

Ours is a borrowed life; taking a person’s life would be unpardonable.

The book, “Mickey Maux Muddles a Murder,” written by Philip Emma tells about a retired scientist from Connecticut named Mickey Maux. He invents things and when cases are difficult for the police to solve, he takes on detective tasks. One day on his way home, his detective skill is put to a test. He comes across a puzzling murder scene. It then becomes a completely different case when the police get involved. An intriguing puzzle between four friends is formed — a battle between lie and truth. The murder case goes into a completely new domain. Mickey Maux solves the case like no other detective can by framing the true murderer.

The story comes with exciting puzzles from very high-level mathematics cleverly combined with the elements of mystery, fun, and humor. The author has amazingly embedded a puzzle within a puzzle. The book is intellectually hard to put down. It is highly entertaining and is definitely worth the read.

“Mickey Maux Muddles a Murder” will be presented as one of the titles at the 2018 Sharjah International Book Fair this coming November 6, 2018.
