About the Author
Michelle Murelli was born in Torrington, CT in 1957 and began studying oil painting when she was 10 years old. Despite a scarcity of deeply engaging early art education experiences, this natural affinity for art-making persisted. After high school, she enrolled in Psychology, minored in Art, and concentrated in Art Therapy. She earned MA in Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. Murelli is a painter, an art therapist, and a certified art teacher.
