About the Author
Noel Montgomery is currently a Program Director at Altierus Career College, where she is involved with helping people change their lives by educating them in the healthcare field. Before becoming an educator, she worked as a Medical Assistant and a Phlebotomist for the University of Washington (Harborview Campus), and a multitude of other medical institutions. Noel also has a passion for fitness and working with others to meet their lifestyle goals as a fitness trainer. She is very active in her church as an Elder and leads a twelve-step recovery program in the church. Noel’s educational background includes a Medical Assistant (AAMA), a Personal Fitness Trainer, an Aerobics Instructor Certifications (IFPA) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Everest University. She served as Washington State Society of Medical Assistants, King County Chapter Vice President and President. She has presented continuing education seminars for Medical Assistants local and State. She is also a speaker for High Schools, communities, and regional assemblies of her story on the streets. Additional endeavors include assisting in curriculum development for medical programs.
