BNY Mellon Announces Private Markets Solutions, Incorporating Existing Private Equity and Real Estate Services

BNY Mellon’s Alternative Investment Services business will be changing the name of its Private Equity and Real Estate division to Private Markets Solutions, effective immediately. The segment will remain under the leadership of Alan Flanagan, Global Head of Private Markets Solutions.

“Integrating our offerings as Private Markets Solutions aligns with our clients, and reflects our commitment to strengthening our services and integrating them around the needs of Asset Owners and Asset Managers,” said Flanagan. “This change also lays the foundation for more robust technology solutions and for accommodating the growing demand for alternatives among Asset Owners and Managers around the globe.”

The new Private Markets Solutions brand encompasses three existing alternative investment service units:

• Private Equity Infrastructure Fund Services provides fund accounting and reporting, financial reporting, investor services, SPV Services, tax solutions, treasury services, cash management, audit support, performance reporting, custody and depositary services.
• Real Estate Fund Services provides fund accounting for direct and indirect structures, property accounting review, financial reporting, audit support, treasury services, cash management, performance measurement / investor services, custody and depositary services.
• Private Investment Administration Services (PIAS) provides data management, cash flow processing, document management solutions, and accounting, audit and reconciliation services. PIAS also provides transparency into underlying private investments and flexible performance returns via our alliance with Burgiss Group, LLC, an industry leading provider of private investment technology.
