Project Zendo Founder Rich Butkevic, PMP, CSM, Provides a Resource for Discovering a Simpler and More Effective Approach to Project Management

Rich Butkevic, a PMP certified project management consultant, Scum Master, and founder of the Wisconsin Agile & Scrum Practitioners User Group, has announced the public launch of Project Zendo, a website for project management professionals to discover strategies to both simplify and improving their project results.

The overarching goal of the website is summarized by Rich Butkevic when he states: “In my career as a project manager, and especially over the past decade, I’ve routinely seen the amount of complexity within projects grow beyond what I would consider useful or necessary. We’ve begun to lose sight of the true purpose of project management - to deliver business results - and are instead overly focused on what I call the ‘management of the management.’ We start to inch closer and closer to the point of diminishing return where the project management itself begins to eclipse the work being done to actually fulfill the goal of the project itself. Project Zendo will be a place to learn and share ideas that support a far more essentialist mindset that focuses on achieving results with as little as needed rather than with as much as possible.”

Project Zendo will concentrate of building out an extensive collection of online content and learning resources in the early stages, with the plan to offer additional corporate training opportunities in the future.
