Burbank, CA – WEBWIRE

Candice McDonough has been named Senior Vice President, Theatrical Communications, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Toby Emmerich, Chairman, Warner Bros. Pictures Group. McDonough will begin on May 25 and report to Emmerich.

In this newly created role, McDonough will work closely with Emmerich and senior executives from the Pictures Group to create and execute communications strategies regarding business issues and stories on the Studio’s film division, including production and distribution operations, and its executives. This will include Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Animation Group and DC-based films. McDonough will also work closely with Corporate Communications, headed by Dee Dee Myers, to coordinate all WBPG communications and messaging with both Warner Bros. and Time Warner corporate positioning.

“Candice is a smart, strategic communications executive who knows the film business inside and out, has excellent instincts, great media relationships and a proven track record,” said Emmerich. “I’ve known and worked with Candice for more than 15 years, so this is a homecoming of sorts. I’m excited to have her back on the team to provide her expertise and counsel as the Pictures Group continues to navigate the constantly evolving entertainment landscape.”
