EMSL Analytical Acquires Pair of Leading Massachusetts Laboratories from TRC

EMSL Analytical, Inc. (EMSL), a leader in the analytical testing industry, announced Thursday, April 26, 2018 it has acquired two of the top environmental testing laboratories in New England from TRC. The labs are located in Woburn and Weymouth, Mass.

Each lab provides quality Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) analysis for asbestos as well as mold and fungi in air and bulk samples by direct exam microscopy.  The Woburn lab is NVLAP and MA DEP accredited for PLM bulk analysis as well as rated proficient through the AIHA IHLAP. The Woburn operation will be consolidated with EMSL’s existing Woburn lab. The Weymouth location will establish a new location for EMSL.
