“A set of clear, first-person accounts that show from the inside how men’s and women’s picture of marriage and relationship can differ. The author’s use of italics to reveal the woman’s inner (unspoken) thoughts is effective. A thought-provoking book.” - Nancy Schluntz, Amazon customer

History repeats itself as inactive (retired) attorney Ruth Rymer creates a fictional account of four women who fell victim to a male-dominated misogynist society. “Perfect Clarity: A Novel about Male-Dominated Misogynist Society and Four Women Who Fought Back (1874 to the Present)” tells of women’s long-time struggle for equality.

Inspired by the women in the author’s family, “Perfect Clarity” tackles different cases of gender conflicts from 1874 up to the present. Four women born on the same family line—Anna, Gloria, Carin, and Kathleen—struggle to gain freedom from abuse and discrimination that comes from living in a male-dominated society. Ruth Rymer writes a four-part story, narrated in four different perspectives of women who choose to fight against violence.

The book seeks to raise awareness as well as promote women empowerment, which has been Ruth’s lifetime advocacy. Nancy Schluntz, an Amazon customer, gave a five-star rating on this book and stated: “A set of clear, first-person accounts that show from the inside how men’s and women’s picture of marriage and relationship can differ. The author’s use of italics to reveal the woman’s inner (unspoken) thoughts is effective. A thought-provoking book.”

“Perfect Clarity” is available in selected online bookstores. Also, watch Ruth Rymer’s radio interview in America Tonight.
