Catherine Weathers Writes About the Importance of Marriage

When God created Adam, He knew that no man is an island; thus, He created Eve from Adam’s rib. From this, women have always been a major contributor to men’s life. They were created by God to help men have dominion over the earth.
 
Most women want to get married to the best partner they could ever find and in a happy wedding ceremony, of course. Meant for the mature at heart, marriage means accepting the responsibility even when it is not one’s fault. A lot of women are willing to take this responsibility just as Eve had done in the past. This fact proves that women indeed mature faster than men – and they need men who are mature enough for marriage.
 
Weathers said in her book that “What mother in this world, when it comes to her daughter getting married, does not want to get the best possible son-in-law there is?” She considers marriage as the union of three: the husband, the wife, and God.

The author, Catherine Weathers, is a woman of many gifts and talents thanks to God. Today she smiles when she thinks of the old saying: “Jack of all trade, but master of none” as one of her main goals in life was to obtain her master’s degree in something, it really did not matter in what. Catherine would be considered and underachiever in junior high school and high school as she dropped out of school at fifteen to raise her own family. She became a single mother at sixteen and entered the workforce at nineteen. Catherine joined the United States Army Reserves at twenty-two and during her twenty-year term she reentered school becoming a License Practical Nurse and later receiving her Bachelors in Nursing at Molloy College in 1995, Bachelors in Theology at Cannon Bible College, 2002, Masters of Theology at International Seminary of Ca, 2003. and Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Anointed by God Ministries Alliance Seminary, 2012. She also has ANCC specialty in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and HIV counselor. She has been a nurse for thirty-one years and counseling is her specialty along with teaching the Word of God
