Aaron Samuel Wallman Shares His Experiences with Schizophrenia and His Attempt to Treat His Mental Illness

Long Beach, CA, USA – WEBWIRE

Through his book the author hopes to clear up misconceptions of schizophrenia by sharing his own struggles with the mental disorder

In his novel, “A Schizophrenic’s Search for Logic,” Aaron Samuel Wallman shares his experiences with schizophrenia and his attempt to end it with true logic.

In the novel he reveals two journeys in his story. One is his imaginary journey first through hell and then heaven and his other journey is from Tokyo, Japan in 1989 to Los Angeles, CA, where it ends in 2014. Both of these two journeys occur together. During the two journeys, he speaks to historical figures such as, David Hume, an 18th century philosopher, and Albert Einstein, a 20th century physicist. He also interacts with other people in his life such as his friends, family members and mental health professionals, which are ideally readers of this novel as well. Through these interactions with such people and his experiences with schizophrenia, he explains this true logic as his cure. As part of this process, he also reflects on his past and the differences between him before and after a car accident which broke his back in 1983. His psychological profile as having dyslexia as a child and from the occurrence of the car accident brings out his feeling of being different from his learning disability. His auditory hallucinations and delusional thoughts arise in Tokyo at the end of April in 1989 which become the symptoms of his schizophrenia.

The novel leaves the reader with a better understanding of schizophrenia and true logic which are explained with the ideas of David Hume and Albert Einstein in terms easy to understand.

Aaron Samuel Wallman’s book, “A Schizophrenic’s Search for Logic” will be on display at the upcoming 2018 New York Rights Fair this coming May 30, 2018.
