Bruce Spohn Writes a Story Which Proves What Really Matters at the Twilight of Life

“Lovers By The Lake: More Than A Romance” tells of a love story of two individuals of the baby boom generation.

Cibolo, TX, USA – WEBWIRE

The why wasn’t important. The fact that they were together was the only thing that mattered.

Bruce Spohn writes a romantic story about two individuals who just met at random but were automatically drawn to each other and developed a strangely strong relationship that grew out of loneliness, bitterness, and disillusionment.

“Lovers By The Lake: More Than A Romance” is not only purely romance. It is more to it than just a relationship. It talks about life and living – how a considerate and an accepting ‘other’ can tend different kinds of failures and frustrations especially in career and social dealings.

Lovers By The Lake: More Than A Romance will be on display this coming May 30, 2018 at the 2018 New York Rights Fair. Mark your calendar and grab a copy of this romantic storybook!

About the Author: (2015)
Bruce Spohn was born March 5, 1947, in Lancaster, California, near Los Angeles. His parents moved north to the Bay Area, and he attended K-12 in a number of schools in different cities around the Bay. This laid the foundation of his outlook on life. After graduating from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, California, he joined the US Air Force. After basic training in Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, he was sent to Germany in October 1965. Like many Americans assigned to Germany, he fell in love and married. While living in Germany, he left the air force in 1968 and later enlisted in the US Army in 1980. In 1994 he retired from the military. Life in Europe appealed to him, and he stayed in Germany after retirement. He spent a total of forty years living in Germany. Finally he returned to the United States in February 2006.

Bruce started writing poems when he was still in high school, but he never published them. After enlisting in the air force and being sent to Germany, he continued to write poems and has had a few published. While serving in Germany, he contributed articles for the Post News Paper in Heidelberg. In November 1999 he was involved in a near-fatal car accident and woke up in the ICU a few days before Christmas. He felt inspired to write a fictional romance story about two lovers who grew up during the time he considers the golden age.
