Mitzi Angel to Rejoin Farrar, Straus and Giroux as Senior Vice President and Publisher

Mitzi Angel will be rejoining Farrar, Straus and Giroux as Senior Vice President and Publisher later this year. She will oversee all of FSG’s editorial and marketing functions and will report to Jonathan Galassi. Sean McDonald, Publisher of FSG’s MCD imprint, will continue to report to Galassi.

Angel began her publishing career at Vintage and Fourth Estate in London. From 2008 to 2015 she served as Publisher of FSG’s Faber and Faber, Inc., imprint in New York, and from 2015 until now as Publisher of Faber and Faber, Ltd. in London. Among the authors Angel has worked with are Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, David Bellos, Rachel Cusk, James Gleick, Garth Greenwell, John Lanchester, Yiyun Li, Ben Lerner, Siddhartha Mukherjee, Paul Murray, and Sally Rooney.
