Jask to become one of Irans main oil terminals

The 46-inch transmission pipeline, which is about 1,000 kilometers long, will start from the city of Deilam in Gurra and end after passing through Fars province in Hormozgan province (Jask), managing director of Petroleum Enginnering and Development Co. (PEDEC) stated.

Highlighting the significance of crude oil transfer to Jask and constructing export terminals in the region, Nouroddin Shahnazizadeh added for to supply the pipeline, the Iranian manufacturers are employed and the tender has been held and the winners are specified. With the aim of creating employment and prosperity among the domestic pipe companies, 50% of the work is given to the first company (winner of the tender), 35% of the work to the second company and 15% of the work to the third company (with the winning bidder), among them , The contract was signed with two companies.

The official also announced the division of the pipeline into four areas (250 km each) and a separate assignment to the EPC contractors to expedite the work process, adding that the public call for the first part and the quality assessment of the contractors were carried out and soon Tender will be held; recall of three other workplaces will be announced simultaneously.

Noting the plans for construction of pipelines, reservoirs and marine facilities in the Jask area, he added 20 reservoirs each with a capacity of 500 thousand barrels of oil will be constructed and the contract for the construction of these reservoirs are in the form of BOT and it will be signed and funded by approximately $ 200 million.

He summed up the investment of the project for the transfer of crude oil to Jask and the construction of export terminals in the region (minus the construction of storage tanks) of about $ 2 billion, and stated that this credit is to be provided by the Ministry of Oil.
