Pastor Ralph Mosgrove Looks to Inspire a Spirit of Gratitude at the NEA EXPO 2018

If yes, make sure to check the National Education Association (NEA) Expo 2018, which will take place between June 30 and July 1, 2018 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
 
Over 10,000 attendees representing three million NEA members nationwide will converge at what is called America’s biggest gathering of leaders in education.
 
Exhibitors and professionals, including authors, are also invited to participate in the NEA EXPO 2018. The event will give them the opportunity to showcase their products, services, and works to attendees.
 
One author who has confirmed his attendance is Pastor Ralph Mosgrove, the author of “Saying Thanks and Beyond: Is Saying Thank You Enough?” (Archway, 2017). He will sign autographs, interact with attendees and above all, impart his reflections on gratitude.
 
Through “Saying Thanks and Beyond,” the author inculcates in readers a radical sense of gratitude – one that goes beyond saying “thank you”. Though the words create a positive reaction in the mind of the person spoken to, the author believes it has become an idle response to someone’s concern or desire to help.
 
“There is a way to offer a response that shows your appreciation for kind deeds, exceeding what others would expect,” said the author.
 
He provides an example of what an ideal gratitude should sound like and explains why it’s necessary, “What if we were to add phrases such as ‘That was such a big help,’ or, ‘You certainly made that easy for me.” When you tell someone ‘You made my day,’ he or she feels good about helping you and leaves with a smile or feeling of satisfaction.”
 
He calls on readers to provide words of encouragement when expressing their gratitude to people, especially those they would not see again. The author asserts that such response will inspire them to make a difference in the lives of more people.
 
“We all have an arsenal of comments we could use to express our gratitude to individuals extending this helping hand. Try telling them how much you needed their help, like, ‘I couldn’t have made it without you,’ or, ‘Someday it will come back to you.’ You reinforce their spirits of generosity, helping them to keep passing it on.”
