Author Bob Gentry Pens Disaster Thriller

The disaster and survival thriller dwells on the themes of destruction, rebirth, and survival. The novel depicts how far man goes to survive amidst untimely challenges and trials.
 
In 2015, a 10.2-magnitude earthquake left Atascadero, California in a state of shock and devastation. It has caused significant damage and resulted in a large number of casualties. Most of the state has been washed away to the Pacific Ocean. Atascadero State Prison was one of the severely damaged institutions, and prisoners and staff including Bob, a mental health counselor, have made a dramatic escape from the shatters. Bob and others who have survived the disaster decided to escape from the rubbles. Gathering enough wit and strength, they agreed to go elsewhere to pick up the broken pieces and chose Las Vegas as their new home. Looking at all those promising lights and sounds in a not-so-sturdy world, they saw a strong potential to rebuild their lives in a different perspective.
 
“Desert Beach” is a story of loss and new hope. Man by nature is a survivor, and would make anything just to stay afloat. Bob proves to himself and to everyone else that life is all about failure and success.
