Carlotta Maria Shinn Russell is a teacher, lecturer, and author. She has a master’s degree in business administration and a master of arts degree in communication. Her book Simone’: Tuscany the Saga Begins is not the only proof of her literary prowess. Carlotta has won the 2014 Southern Regional Literary award in the Civil Rights category through her book I Lived on the Other Side of the Line: The 1960’s Civil Rights Era through the Eyes of a Child.
