The story follows Stan Miles who is to transport boxes of precious Indian artifacts unearthed in a reservation in Navajo to a supply center in Virginia. Upon unloading the boxes, he realizes that he is duped in trafficking illegal substances across state borders. With nowhere to go, his fate hangs in the line with the men who accompanied him to the trip.
The ensuing circumstances leaves Stan unconscious and trapped in a dark basement. People who have been relentless in looking for him find themselves treading on thin ice. “Pitch Black” explores the character’s struggle and suffering in keeping his sanity and attempting to escape the drug cartel.
