Bridging History and Christianity
Looking at the Bible and Christianity from creation to the 21st century
Thanks to scientific and archeological advancements in the 20th century, mankind can now learn about evolution over the centuries. Using this to her advantage, author Nelda Moffatt takes a look at the Word of God through a different approach in her debut book, The Right Hand of God.
From the creation of the world in the book of Genesis, on to the prophecies in Revelation, Moffatt’s book chronologically examines the entirety of the Bible along with history and archeology. Charts, maps, and diagrams are shown throughout the text to supplement the presented information. By examining the subject matter from a biblical and historical perspective, Moffatt’s readers will learn about the rise and fall of civilizations and the evolution of the church, as it moved through seven ascending civilizations. Aside from educating readers in history, the book also aims to help everyone attain a better understanding of the Holy Trinity.
Clarion Reviews cites the book’s range as its strongest point, commending its combination of “many avenues of human endeavor, including science, culture, empire-building, and philosophy.” The review also lauds Moffatt’s conversational tone, making it easy for her readers to understand her insight.
Copies of The Right Hand of God are available in selected online bookstores. More information on Moffatt and her work is available on her website, www.neldamoffatt.com.
