Quote: “Misogyny remains a woman’s greatest challenge.”

Ruth Rymer demonstrates prevalent gender discrimination against women through five different generations from the late Nineteenth century to the present time. Such situations to which every woman can relate include Anna and Gloria (who represent women before the Wars) and Carin and Kathleen (who personify women’s dilemma in the modern times).

In “Perfect Clarity,” Ruth dramatizes women’s struggles as they strive for gender equality. Bound by the author’s long history, experience and expertise of this field, this book indeed is a perfect clarity of the long-lasting, wide-ranging, lethal effects of misogyny.
