Novelist Ruth Rymer to Attend the BookExpo 2018

Once again it’s book fair time in New York! The Javits Center will once again be the destination for the prestigious 2018 BookExpo New Title Showcase.
 
The book bonanza will run from May 30 through June 1, hosting thousands of nationally and internationally renowned authors, speakers, professionals, and exhibitors. There is no other place to get lit(erature) than the BookExpo 2018.
 
Novelist Ruth Rymer is one of the authors expected to attend the prestigious book expo for a scheduled autographing session on May 31 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
 
Rymer is the author of “Perfect Clarity: A Novel about Our Male-Dominated Misogynist Society and Four Women Who Fought Back” (1874 to the Present) (Mill City Press, 2017). Given its subject matter, the novel will surely raise a few eyebrows at the BookExpo 2018.
 
“Perfect Clarity” takes place from 1874 to the 1990s. The novel tells the struggles of four generations of young incredible women, all coming from the same family, who present various struggles in a male-dominated society and how they resisted against misogyny, which is the only thing that has not changed since 1874.
 
The publication of “Perfect Clarity” could not have come at a better time when the harassment scandals involving Hollywood and political figures make the rounds on news outlets. The novel is sure to draw attention to its author, a retired attorney well-versed in human rights and gender conflict.

Ruth Rymer is an inactive (retired) attorney. She earned her PhD in a historical analysis of divorce, women’s rights, gender conflict, and applicable law in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She made it seven times in the “Best Lawyers of America.”
