Starting Saturday, January 6, local stores will feature special discountsfor teachers and administrators such as 25 percent off most merchandise like books, toys and games. The offers will also be valid online at for purchases made on Saturday, January 27, and Sunday, January 28.

  • 10 percent off select NOOK® by Samsung devices, including: Samsung Galaxy Tab A NOOK® 7”, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK® 8”, Samsung Galaxy Tab E NOOK®6”, as well as the NOOK GlowLight 3®
  • 10 percent off Café consumables (in-store only)
  • 10 percent off select tech tools

The special discounts offered during Educator Appreciation Days are available to pre-K to grade 12 teachers and administrators enrolled in the free Barnes & Noble Educator Discount Card Program. To take advantage of these offers, educators can apply for their Barnes & Noble Educator Discount Card in their local store or download the form from the Educator Application page online.

Barnes & Noble is also continuing its customer-favorite My Favorite Teacher Contest, which for the past eight years has given middle and high school students the opportunity to nominate their teachers for national, regional and local awards, by telling their communities how much they appreciate them.
