Raised in a Christian home, Business Administration graduate Alan Olmsted takes poetry into a different level as he focuses on enriching the spirit through devotional and meditative reflections that will guide readers toward God.
 
Olmsted’s book, Reflective Poetry for the Spirit, seeks to touch the deepest thoughts, ideas, feelings, and expressions as a way of gearing oneself toward God. He reiterates the inspiring tendency of poetry to play a vital part in giving praises, adoration, and worship to God. “My poems invoke a communing with God. My poems are like a devotional expression to God,” Olmsted explains.
