High Energy 3D Accumulator Expanding to the United States

The move will see a mass production of efficient batteries in the US.

Nevada, United States – WEBWIRE

A Czech Republic company involved in applied research and commercialization of battery technologies is expanding into the United States. The expansion process has already kicked off, following a series of high powered negotiations which has seen a successful establishment of the subsidiary HE3DA USA INC. in Nevada.

The introductory meeting between the company and the senior representatives of the Nevada state were held in February. The meeting was attended by Kristopher Sanchez, Director of International Trade, Jarad Van Wagoner, Deputy Director of the International Division and Pawel Pietrasienski, Director of Special Projects of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development. The engagement saw a successful visit of the team engaged in the negotiation to the company’s newly opened production line in Prague. In the visit the officials engaged in discussions on the possibilities of parallel production of HE3DA® batteries in the United States. The Prague visit was followed up with another series of meeting which were organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington.

The decision to expand to the United States is guided by a number of factors including the huge market of the lithium batteries in the country as well as the ever increasing restrictions that can make the transport and batteries significantly more expensive.

HE3DA has developed a new construction of Lithium cells, allowing production of robust and large cells through a revolutionary powder pressing process. The lithium batteries are ten thousand times larger than the cylindrical cells which are currently used; also they are extremely mechanical and have a strong performance. The batteries performance properties are designed for large scale application such as large backups, energy storage and wind farms.

HE3DA bringing forth a highly innovative technology for storing alternative energy including full recyclability, which is the logical direction of the future. In a three years time, the company sets to build a mass production factory in Nevada; a state which has been identified by the company director, Lenka Somolova as offering optimum conditions, favorable tax incentives and full support from the state government.
Establishment of the factory is expected to create employment and investment chances in the future of alternative energy technology. Ing.VáclavBinar, the Magna Energy Storage, a. s. (MES) sees production plant as important opportunity for MES shareholders and local investors as well.

HE3DA will be one of the exhibitors at CES Conference in Las Vegas January 9 – 12, 2018.
