Rare Country has teamed up with Cox Media Group’s (CMG) country stations to simulcast the Rare Country Awards concert event live from Nashville on Thursday, December 14 at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT. The concert will reveal the winners of the 2017 Rare Country Awards, and feature performances by nominees Kane Brown, LANCO and RaeLynn.

Midday host Christi Brooks of The New 93Q Houston and morning co-host JR Jaus of Y100 San Antonio have been tapped to host the one-hour concert, simulcasting from ACME Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville. The event will livestream on RareCountryAwards.com and Rare Country’s Facebook page, and simulcast on these CMG country stations: KKBQ (93Q) Houston, KCYY (Y100) San Antonio, WWKA (K92.3) Orlando, KWEN (K95.5) Tulsa, WHKO (K99.1) Dayton and WNGC/WTSH Atlanta/North Georgia. Each of these stations is also offering listeners a chance to win a trip to Nashville to attend the Rare Country Awards live concert event.
