The Author, Edward A. Figueroa, wants to help both Christians and non-Christians to have a better understanding of the unconditional love God has for us. The Word of God challenges and exhorts the Christians to walk in the ways of Jesus, but for the non-Christians it is a detailed account of Jesus never before known or understood. The primary design of this book written is for anyone that has an open mind and engaging of ministry encompasses many different types of ministry too many to list. In many aspects, “In The Beginning” is the author’s effort to pass on the faith – his faith that was strengthened through his fellowship with mature Christians. It also serves as his outreach ministry towards Christians who need guidance in their faith journey (just as he was guided years before by men who dedicated their lives and works to the Lord) and towards non-Christians who want to know more about Jesus Christ. Call it proselytizing, but Figueroa is only doing his share of work in the Lord’s vineyard.

Through “In The Beginning,” the author hopes to guide fellow Christians in their walk with God and strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. As with his outreach to non-Christians, he hopes to preach Jesus to them and help them discover who they are and why God wants them too in His Kingdom. About the Author

Ed Figueroa retired from the Air Force after 20 years and 10 days of service. He became a born-again Christian in April 13, 1979. He trained with the Navigators, a group of men who are heavily into discipleship known throughout the world, from 1979 to 1985. Ed felt blessed and enriched with grace by Jesus Christ, thanks to his fellowship with strong Christians who not only guide him in his faith journey and help him keep his focus on the Savior but also challenge him to become the best in ministry. He and his wife, Jena, are connected with the Rivers of Living Water Ministry.
