Attaining Love and Happiness

For Austine Royer Smith, the Lord and His presence is seen and felt in children. Her book, Grandma Waves with Her Heart, shows just how wonderful the bond between children and adults can be.

The heartwarming story is inspired by Austine’s close relationships with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Their bonds, which she considers to be a blessing, has given her lots of glee and love in her life. “My lap has been the place of many stories and life’s lessons, prayers, and the healings. It’s the little things in their lives that linger in my memory longer and bring me much joy,” she says.

The book comes with colorful illustrations that young kids are sure to enjoy as they read. Austine hopes that children, parents, and grandparents, will be able to learn from the relationship between Grandma and her grandson, Rooster.

Copies of Grandma Waves with Her Heart are available at selected online bookstores. The book was displayed by LitFire Publishing at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2017 at the Messe Frankfurt in Germany. The event ran from October 11 to 15.

About the Author

Austine Royer Smith has a deep love for children. She established the Founding House Ministries to not only share the Gospel, but also to give a home and secular and religious education for many Haitian children living in the country’s streets and jungles. Aside from ministry work, the author also dabbles in public speaking.
