John Henrickson Tells of Unsolved Crimes in a Community Where Gangs Are Lurking Everywhere

“Deadly Deterrent” revolves around a community where police assets and fellow cops were murdered without a hint of the murderer or weapon.

One of the police officers of the Vancouver Metro Police, Detective Weeks, discovered that her informant, Hooper, was murdered. Week’s partner, who had an unpleasant relationship with her informant, was also killed shortly. The killing did not stop there. Not long after, two more cops had the same fate, and then another, followed by even more deaths.

Local residents of the said community continue to live in fear because cops can’t pinpoint a suspect. The cops couldn’t sleep for fear that they will be next to die.

The killings remained a mystery because the method/s was unusual and new to the cops. Juggling between disciplining the getting-wilder gangs and searching for the uncanny murderer, the cops are getting busier by the day.

With its unpredictable plot, the novel is sure to boggle the reader’s mind.

About the Author
John Henrickson discovered his enjoyment for writing in high school, often finding it easier to write about something than to speak about it. His interest in law and how it relates to criminal activity and sentencing had him asking the question “what if gangs were to get organized and fight back?” His first novel “Deadly Deterrent” explores just that.

John currently has three other books under construction as he explores multiple genres in fantasy, medical thrillers, and science fiction. He lives with his wife in Abbotsford, BC, Canada.
