Emma will sign copies of his detective fiction at the 2018 BEA New Title Showcase.

Dr. Philip Emma, author of “Mickey Maux Muddles a Murder (And Solves Adler’s Problem)” (Xlibris, 2017), has confirmed his participation at the 2018 BookExpo America (BEA) New Title Showcase, which will take place on May 30 to June 2, 2018, at the Javits Center, New York City.

“Mickey Maux Muddles a Murder” marks Emma’s entry into the world of fiction. The book is a detective thriller/police procedural that features a wealthy, retired scientist, Mickey Maux, as the protagonist. Mickey, who helps the police handle tough cases, comes across a puzzling murder scene at the back of a supermarket. After taking the time to investigate the scene, he phones the police, who arrive to discover a different murder victim other than the one Mickey had found. That incident establishes the premise of the story.

During exhibit hours, the author will have the opportunity to sign copies of “Mickey Maux Muddles a Murder” and interact with the book expo attendees. His book signing session is scheduled on June 2, 2018, at 2-3 PM.
