Encourage them to listen and talk.

Early communication between parents and their child is essential and author Jo Ann Gramlich believes that this should start as early as birth. With this in mind, she wrote “TALK, PLAY, AND READ WITH ME MOMMY” with the intention of informing and teaching parents about the importance of early interactions with their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to help aid in the development of their children’s speech and language skills.

The book contains various games and activities that the family may enjoy together. Keenly divided into stages of a child’s growth years (infancy, toddlerhood, and pre-school), the activities are listed age appropriately and are detailed by Gramlich in order for parents to perform them correctly and attain their full potential. The author was inspired by the children she has worked with as a Speech-Language Pathologist and the communication delays and disorders these children have encountered. Parents are assured that this material is a best practice resource and will surely assist them with their needs. The book is designed to help young children develop their speech and language skills and is convenient to carry anywhere, anytime. This does not only enhance a growing child’s expressive and receptive language skill base but also strengthens the parent–child bond.

Gramlich wonderfully shares a truly useful interactive activity book perfect for growing children. “TALK, PLAY, AND READ WITH ME MOMMY” is a must-have.

“TALK, PLAY, AND READ WITH ME MOMMY” was one of the amazing books displayed at the 2018 Bologna Book Fair which took place March 26, 2018.
