Ingrid Kern Pens a Truly Motivating Book That Will Inspire the Readers to Pursue Their Dreams

“Triumph,” a book written by Ingrid Kern, tells the story of how the author overcame her doubts and reservations and made her dream come true. Being able to participate in the Summer Senior Olympics after 49 years of not running, the author’s four years of intense training and her will to leave the past behind have given the author the triumph of finishing 7^th, though with a torn hamstring, at the National Games in 2011. This incident has ended her career as a Sprinter.

The book gives the readers inspiration to pursue their dreams. This book is a must-have to those who are feeling down and need some inspiration and/or motivation in their lives.

About the author
Ingrid Kern grew up in Vienna, Austria, being physically, mentally and emotionally abused by her alcoholic father. After his death, she dropped out of school at age eighteen. She worked as a model in Europe and played on stage in Vienna for a season. Ingrid moved to New York and got married. After her divorce, she moved to Los Angeles, where her actual healing journey began.

Kern has published books of poetry and self-healing: “Volume One,” “Words From An Unchained Heart,” “What’s Your Monster’s Name?” and “100 Whispered Words.”

Kern received several awards for some of her poems, including the Poet of Merit Award from the International Society of Poets for her poem “9/11”. Several of her poems have been featured in the Brentwood News. Ingrid lives in Los Angeles and shares her time working in Real Estate, managing a building, writing and traveling. She loves animals.
