Vizrt Chosen as Partner of Swiss Timing for the Beijing Olympics

Bergen, Norway, October 4, 2006. Vizrt Ltd. (Frankfurt Prime Standard, Oslo Main List: VIZ) announces today, that Swiss Timing, that has been appointed as the official timing company for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, has chosen Vizrt to do their on screen graphics. In total Swiss Timing will need 50 VizlTrio systems to cover the needs in Beijing.

Swiss Timing has a few months ago acquired Wige Data, a long term partner of Vizrt. The combined knowledge and resources of Swiss Timing and Wige Data, positions Swiss Timing as a major force in sports production, first and foremost in Europe, but also in major events like the Olympics throughout the world.


The comprehensive details of the deal are yet to be finalized. Swiss Timing and Vizrt will work together to make the on-air look state of the art. In 2008 a large number of stations will provide their coverage in HD, so Swiss Timing and Vizrt will do both HD and SD.The deal will be recognized through 2007/2008.
