TietoEnator and DNA sign an Agreement regarding the outsourcing of telecom services

3 October 2006 - DNA Finland is outsourcing its added value telecom services to TietoEnator. According to the agreement, TietoEnator will in future be responsible for DNA’s mobile content services. TietoEnator and DNA will also work together in the development, merchandising and production of new services. The letter of intent for the project was published on 11 July 2006.

The service agreement includes a three year service contract estimated at EUR 5-7 million. The services to be outsourced are transferred to the responsibility of TietoEnator’s Telecom & Media business area starting on 2 October 2006, and the services will be provided in a new service centre made up of resources from both companies. The aim of the service centre is to offer content and value added services in the future to other service operators both in Finland and around the world.
