Todd Cowle Announces Added Team Members and Investment Advisory Arm Expansion at Southwest Texas Capital

September 17, 2006 -- Todd Cowle, Senior Managing Partner – Fixed Income & Investment Banking: Todd Cowle has over 22 years of industry experience. Todd Cowle has served as a Managing Director with Bear Stearns in New York and Dallas, Texas where he worked closely with banks, mutual fund managers, insurance companies, municipalities, and high net worth individuals.

Todd Cowle has also been a Senior Vice President at Prudential Securities and RBC Dain Rauscher. During those 22 years he gained an expertise in all sectors of the fixed income markets, including municipals, corporate and high yield debt, and mortgage backed securities. Todd Cowle holds a BA in Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Todd Cowle holds the NASD Series , 63, 65 licenses and license for life insurance products.

Todd Cowle is pleased to announce that Ray Quinn joins his team from Wolfe & Hurst as a Senior V.P. of Fixed Income. Todd Cowle and Maria Tsalis both of who have extensive institutional bond trading experience look forward to working with Ray Quinn as he brings twenty years of bond trading experience, including long stints at Merrill Lynch and Southwest Securities. Welcoming him, Todd Cowle along with Charles Gallamore, Senior Managing Partner, expressed their excitement on the latest addition to the bond desk, which traded almost a billion dollars worth of bonds in 2005. This team of institutional bond traders will focus on delivering bond execution and ideas to the retail force and institutional clientele of Southwest Texas Capital, and managing and promoting the new “80/20” hedge fund. Mr. Cowle has announced this new hedge fund will be managed by Southwest Texas Capital’s investment advisory arm.

The new fund will focus on placing 80% investments in high yield bonds and 20% investments in private placements.

Ray holds a Masters in Economics from University of California at Davis and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the same university.
