Seeing the World through a Different Lens

Thru God’s Eyes chronicles Yolanda Johnson’s life journey. Together with LitFire Publishing, Johnson showcased this book during the Frankfurt Book Fair, held last October 19–23, 2016. The event took place in Frankfurt Trade Fair  and was attended by thousands of book traders and publishing professionals.

Yolanda Johnson lived a curious life. During her younger years, she was quite stubborn and was involved in alcohol abuse and drugs. Her misled life started to change on November 8, 1988, when she was shot. It was at that moment she realized that no one could save her but Jesus. After that, she began to live life through a different pair of eyes—understanding things through God’s eyes.

This poignant recollection of a traumatic experience will inspire readers to reflect on their own lives as well. Yolanda Johnson has a degree in business. She is the founder of a nonprofit organization called   Rechanging Lives. The organization caters to troubled teens who want to change and build a career. Moreover, the teens are also encouraged to live a life of faith.
