Remembering celebrates the heroism and unity of the twenty countries that fought together to protect South Korea from the tyranny of some Communist countries.

Dennis J. Ottley’s book Remembering (Korea: 1950–1953) is a captivating memoir of his time in the military and deployment to Korea for the Korean War. This exclusive chronicling of events sheds new light on what seemed to be a “forgotten war.”

Ottley, together with other 5,720,000 Americans who fought in Korea, remembers the three-year war clearly. Contrary to popular notion of it being just “police action,” according to President Truman, the Korean War was actually one of the bloodiest wars in history. And Ottley retells that experience in this book.

Remembering celebrates the heroism and unity of the twenty countries that fought together to protect South Korea from the tyranny of some Communist countries. This book is enjoyed not only by history aficionados, but also by war veterans and their families—those who know the struggles of being in the war.
