It is hard to let go of the past. It is even harder to move forward to a future that is uncertain. Since her father died and her mother has no intentions of living with her, Jamie is left no choice but to leave and start a new life at her grandmother’s ranch hidden in the Columbia River Gorge. But nothing has ever prepared her to meet the exceedingly handsome yet stubborn Lance who suddenly barged in her sanctuary and into her heart like a rodeo cowboy that he is. Though lost, the feeling of attraction between the two slowly develops into a love that allows them to ultimately find refuge in each other’s arms.
