On the 10th AJC Decatur Book Festival, LitFire Publishing featured Maureen Santora’s book, entitled We Remember: Stories of September Victims 11, 2001 Written by Families, from September 2 to 4, 2016, at 101 E. Court Square, Decatur, Georgia.
The book is dedicated to all the victims of the September 11 attacks. In commemoration of the lives of those who departed, their loved ones share their stories—their childhoods, hopes, and aspirations. Maureen compiled these stories so people will never forget those who suffered a tragic fate from the attack. The stories also focus on the message that growing up is hard, but if we have love, support, and a dream that we are willing to work for, we turn out just wonderfully.
All those who contributed to the stories have decided that they will not profit from the book sales. All the profits will go to a special organization dedicated to support the rescue workers who were at ground zero during the incident. You may visit www.christophersantora.com for more information about Maureen’s books and the different organizations that are being funded by the book sales.
More than one thousand world-class authors and hundreds of thousands of festival goers participated in the AJC Decatur Book Festival.
