Despite the traumatic experience of waiting to be rescued after being partially blinded and almost killed from an act of hatred, Ellen rose above it all to find strength and forgiveness. After multiple surgeries and therapy, she adapts her sight-oriented mind to her sightless body and begins to participate in television and print interviews, sharing her story and raising awareness about the needs of and resources for the blind. With the guiding hand of God touching her life, she continues to live on and triumph.

About the Author
Ellen Bomer graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she received numerous civil and government awards. She is a source of light and inspiration to all she meets. She currently resides in Wimberley, Texas, with her husband and granddaughter. This is her first book.
