About the Author

Visually impaired since birth, Dr. Grace D. Napier has taught children from preschool age through twelfth grade, as well as students on the graduate level at three universities. She holds four teaching degrees. She was the first to combine academic content and orientation/mobility into one to help future teachers to meet the additional needs of visually impaired children and clients. Now retired, she has published three other books.
