About the Author

Michelle F. Santos is the daughter of a mulatto whose grandparents passed for white in the early 1900s. She was a nurse, then she decided to pursue her dream and studied at the Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles.

To finalize her studies and fulfill her dreams, she moved to Italy, where she later performed all across the country, and then Switzerland as a well-loved opera singer.

The author currently resides in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona with her grandchildren and her dogs.
