About the Author

Katie Scofield has seventeen siblings and lived with them and her parents on a farm in Hughes, Arkansas. After graduating from Hughes High School, she attended college at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Because it has been one of her greatest interests, she took online classes in writing stories for children. Inspired by the reactions of kids after reading a good book, especially when they asked her to read the story again, she decided to write her own. This is her first book.
