“I thought about whether such ease of communication would lead to questioning and an attempt to free the world’s people from the intertwined power of religious and political entities.”

2084 The Secularist Revolution: How Technology Changed the World is the product of Stanley Yokell’s sound understanding of religious and political entanglement—after a rigorous study of the history of religion and government from the earliest settlements.

The revolutionary change in the ability of people to communicate with one another electronically has intrigued the author. He speculates on the possibility of a device to translate any language into the reader or listener’s native tongue. Yokell explains, “I thought about whether such ease of communication would lead to questioning and an attempt to free the world’s people from the intertwined power of religious and political entities.”

With the help of LitFire Publishing, 2084 The Secularist Revolution had been introduced to an international audience during the Seoul International Book Fair in Seoul, South Korea, last June 15–19, 2016.
