“McFarland’s Chief Justice is an intellectually stimulating yet relaxing thriller…It’s almost as if, unbeknownst to the reader, the author is assiduously working to teach him or her about the inner workings of the Supreme Court while simultaneously whetting his or her appetite for suspense,”

The story of life and work hidden from public view within the building of the Supreme Court of the United States is now revealed through Doug McFarland’s book entitled Chief Justice: A Supreme Court Insider’s Novel.

While the mystery is fictional, every event within the story is from history. McFarland says, “Even the characters’ names are found in Court history.  Anyone who wants to know about the private lives of the people in the Supreme Court will find it here.”

“McFarland’s Chief Justice is an intellectually stimulating yet relaxing thriller…It’s almost as if, unbeknownst to the reader, the author is assiduously working to teach him or her about the inner workings of the Supreme Court while simultaneously whetting his or her appetite for suspense,” says Andrea Kay, an Amazon reviewer.

In addition to mystery and general fiction readers, this book should be of great interest to legal professionals and students.
