“I found this book to be an excellent resource for teaching writing to my 8 year old. The practice exercises are very helpful in teaching each concept, without being dry and boring for the student.”

Alexandra S. Bigelow and Elsie S. Wilmerding’s Just Write 3 builds on the skills and features of the earlier books in the Just Write series. It introduces students to the four main types of writing—narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive—providing samples of each. It also allows students to experiment with different forms of each writing style.

Several parents in Christianbook.com have generously given the book five stars. Jill G. mentioned, “I found this book to be an excellent resource for teaching writing to my 8 year old. The practice exercises are very helpful in teaching each concept, without being dry and boring for the student.”

Another reviewer, named Jamie, stated, “My son, who is not a natural writer, has enjoyed working through these books, and I have watched his writing become more natural and fluid. . . [He] has completed 1 and 2 and is enjoying book 3. They are very clear, self-explanatory and easy for him to complete independently.”

Along with other children’s books, Just Write 3 had been showcased at the 53rd Bologna Children’s Book Fair last April 4–7, 2016, at Bologna Fair Centre in Italy.
