Contino’s First Book to Be Featured in PLA Conference 2016

Denver will host this year’s Public Library Association Conference, and one of the many books accessible in the said event is Dr. Rosalie Contino’s autobiography, Born to Create. It is Contino’s first book. It chronicles her early life and pursuit of a lifelong passion for the arts.

As stable as her old profession of being a teacher was, Dr. Contino still felt it necessary to fulfill her dreams. That’s why she left her old profession and successfully transitioned to become a creative woman. She took a bold move that most forty-year-olds would not dare do.

Using a simple and conversational style of writing, Dr. Contino shares her story to provide hope and guidance to those who are planning to change their careers and paths. This story of a fierce artist will inspire women everywhere.

Born to Create and other books by Dr. Contino’s have been presented in various book fairs worldwide. About the Author

Dr. Rosalie H. Contino got her degree in elementary education from Fordham University. She then earned her MA in educational theater and, later, a PhD in the same field from New York University. Apart from teaching in New York University, she also worked as a costume designer, costume consultant, and lecturer for productions and events. Rosalie is a published author and currently lives in Brooklyn.
